FIRST ON SCENE: FIREMEN AND UFOS

Firemen... our heroes. Just think of September 11th and everyone immediately understands how far reaching the duties of a fireman are. Whether it is traffic accidents, fires, downed aircraft, and even crime scenes...firemen are the First on Scene to almost every emergency.

But who would have thought that one of the emergencies covered in a firefighters preparedness manual would be about UFOs. It turns out this is precisely the subject of one of the chapters in the The Fire Officers Guide to Disaster Control, a guide used by many fire officials in disaster planning. Chapter 13, titled Enemy Attack and UFO Potential, addresses the subject of UFOs and the threats that first responders could encounter.

Given the role that firemen have, it stands to reason that they should be prepared in such an event. One can reasonably assume that if any one of the alleged UFO incidents throughout the years, did in fact take place, firemen would have been in the unique and advantageous position to have borne witness to these remarkable moments.

This documentary examines Chapter 13, and takes a new and detailed look at how firemen were involved in some of the most well known (and not so well known) events in recent history.
